BOOKING TERMS & CONDITIONS

PLEASE MAKE SURE YOU HAVE READ THE INDIVIDUAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS of your Villa rental as these are legally binding.  When you make a confirmed booking, you and your attending party are deemed to have accepted all terms and conditions as shown on this website.

 

1. ARRIVAL AND DEPARTURE TIMES

The designated arrival check in time is 15:00pm and departure check out time of 11:00 am. We will try to accommodate requests for early arrivals or late departures times, subject to availability.

2. REGISTERED GUESTS

Only the specified number of persons listed in the Booking Reservation at the time of booking may reside on the premises. The number of registered guests given at the time of the booking is the maximum number of persons allowed. In the event the total number of guests exceeds the maximum occupancy, we reserve the right to request all Guests to vacate the Property immediately.

The Property shall only be used for the purpose it has been let (personal lodging). It is forbidden to use the premises for any kind of commercial use and/or subleasing to third parties and/or entertainment and/or functions involving large number of guests unless expressly agreed in writing at the time of Booking.

Should unauthorized use of the Property be made, we reserve the right to request all Guests to vacate the Property immediately.

The Villa Owner-Hostess will be expecting you upon your arrival to welcome you and facilitate your stay at Elysian Luxury Villa. She resides in a separate and fully independent house on the Villa underground floor, which has a separate entrance of its own. Since the Villa is located in a remote area (7 min by car from the closest village), the owner will be conveniently providing onsite check in services and will be on hand to assist you with anything you may need during your stay.

3. MINIMUM STAY REQUIREMENTS

There is a minimum 3 night stay requirement for most of the year. During peak seasons (Christmas, New Year, Easter) there is a 4 night minimum stay requirement.

4.  PAYMENT TERMS & SECURITY DEPOSIT

The Booking Reservation is confirmed via e-mail, where all the details of the reservation are mentioned. Specifically, it will include: the name in which the reservation is made, dates of arrivaland departure, total number of guests attending, total amount of stay, contact telephone numbers, personal responsible for payment, bank payment details, refundable security deposit information and cancellation policies. We ask that you carefully review these details and revert by return email with any needed modifications.

A refundable Security Deposit fee is charged in the Booking Reservation for the amount of € 500.00 and is payable during the second reservation balance payment. This is to ensure and guarantee proper use of the Property. Provided no internal and external damages are incurred to the Property and its fixtures/fittings, the Security Deposit will be released via the same payment method upon satisfactory inspection of premises.

In the event that the Property is damaged or any breakages occur during the rental period including both inside and outside property, total replacement costs will be deducted from this security deposit. This excludes normal and acceptable wear and tear. The condition of the property will be judged at the sole discretion of the Property Owner. In the exceptional case where the cost of damages to repair/replace exceed the amount of the security deposit, Guestswill be held liable to pay the outstanding amount within 7 days of his notification.

5. PAYMENT DEPOSIT

To confirm the Booking Reservation, a payment deposit of 50% of the total rental reservation must be paid by the Guest within 10 working days of Booking Confirmation. There is no obligation from the Property Owner until the financial deposit and all personal data of the Guest is received.

During high season bookings (1 July-31 August) this deposit is non refundable.

For Bookings made and confirmed within four (4) weeks before the arrival date, the Guest must pay the total value (100%) upon booking.

Payments are affected through secure online payment link, which is sent through the Booking Reservation, or direct bank deposit (all incurred bank charges/fees on Guest account). Bank details as below:

6. PAYMENT BALANCE

A payment balance for the remaining 50% of the total rental reservation must be paid by the Guest no later than within 10 working days before expected arrival date. Failure to pay the balance at this time will constitute cancellation by the Guest. The Property Owner reserves the right to retain the prepayment deposit in full. With the balance payment, the refundable Security Deposit of € 500.00 must also be remitted. Villa will be inspected for breakages/damages at checkout. Any damages incurred will be charged, at replacement cost, by the same payment method. If no breakages/damages occur, the Security Deposit will be refunded within 10 working days after check out.

The Booking Reservation is considered final and confirmed when all outstanding amounts are paid in full. Copies of payment slips will be requested via email to confirm payment obligations.

Children aged 0-3 years are accommodated free of charge.

If after the specified deadline of the Booking Reservation the payment balance has not been affected, the Reservation is considered invalid with no further obligation from the Property Owner.

7. CANCELLATION POLICY

If a Guest wishes to cancel all or part of the Reservation, or if the reservation is cancelled due to non-payment, the following cancellation charges will be applicable.

  1. For cancellation 6 weeks or more before arrival, 100% deposit amount refunded in full (less bank charge deductions).
  1. For cancellation 4 weeks or more before arrival, 50% deposit amount refunded in full (less bank charge deductions).
  1. For cancellation 4 weeks or less before arrival, 100% of paid amounts retained in full (deposit and remaining amount).

If there is a ‘no show’ on the agreed arrival date or guest departure earlier than the check-out date, no refund will be given.

For all cases of cancellation, the security deposit shall be refunded in full. All cancellations must be sent to the Reservations Manager in writing.

8. BOOKING AMENDMENTS

If any changes need to be made to your confirmed booking, the Guest must notify the Reservations Manager in writing as soon as possible and we will try to meet the proposed changes, without charging additional fees, if feasible. If the above-mentioned changes result in additional fees, the Guest will be informed in writing for additional changes and relevant charges, and a new Booking Reservation will be dispatched.

9. GUEST COMPLAINTS

The Property Owner will do everything in their power to provide you with a trouble-free stay. However, the Property may present malfunctions like any other house. Any problems or complaints that occur during the rental period should first be discussed with the Reservations Manager. We will endeavor to try to rectify the situation to the best of our professional ability.

The Property Owner does not bear any responsibility for interruptions, breakdowns, shortages or lack of water supply, gas or electricity, Internet and Telephone connections, cable TV, or pool filtration systems. The Property Owner will do everything within reasonable expectation to avoid complaints in the first place, and it is understood that when staying in a remote location, that infrastructure, local standards, and conditions are typically less available than in urban environments. In no circumstances does the Property Owner providecompensation to the Guest in case of failure or technical problem of any kind beyond its control.

Please bear in mind that our aim is to mend any problem that arises within 24 hours may not always be feasible because of the time of day or day of the week, the location of the Property, the unavailability of technicians, etc. The Guest should allow staff such as pool maintenance workers and gardeners access to the grounds in order to complete their work.

Electricity and water shortages may, and do, occur in some areas during the summer months, and while we will do everything in our power to reestablish supply or remedy the situation, we cannot be held responsible for the inconvenience such shortages may create and which are beyond our control.

10. UTILITIES

Utility costs are included with the rent. As the Property abides with an eco-friendly policy, we request that windows be closed while air-conditioning units are in use, light switches not be turned on all at the same time, heating units and water taps be switched off when you need to go out for either a short or long period of time. In order to maintain the longevity of our environment, kindly conserve water, limit energy use, dispose of sanitary waste properly in the waste bins provided, recycle and reduce. We thank you for your support!

11. FURNITURE

Interior furnishings must remain inside the Property and only designated outdoor furniture can be used on the exterior.

12. HOUSEKEEPING

Linens and towels are provided by the Property. Due to our eco-friendly policy, bed linens are changed every third day and bath towels replaced. Pool towels offered for use in pool only and should not be taken to the beach.  Guests must leave the property in an acceptable condition upon departure. Daily or regular cleaning service of the Villa is provided at an additional cost.

13. PETS

There is a ‘No Pet Policy’ inside and outside of the Villa and its surrounding properties.

14. SMOKING

There is no smoking permitted in the Villa. Smoking must be done outside on the grounds, with appropriate use of ashtrays.

15. VALUABLES

Valuable items such as passports, cell phones, cameras, cash or jewelry should be stored safely away at the Guest’s sole responsibility. The Property Owner, nor its staff, is responsible for any valuables left behind, lost, misplaced, damaged or stolen at any time during your stay.

16. ARTWORK

Guests must be aware that the Property contains precious contemporary and antique pieces of art and must take care to avoid causing any damage to them. Any artwork or antiques damaged during the rental period will be the responsibility of the Guest and the costs set off against the aforementioned security deposit. If damages exceed the security deposit, the Guest is liable for the remaining damages and must compensate the Property Owner the difference in cost.

17. EXTERNAL LOCAL SERVICES

In case the Guests need additional services (such as babysitting, car/driver, chef, personal instructor, cycling, mountain biking, horse riding, trekking) while already staying in the accommodation, please contact the Reservations Manager for further information. Due to the high tourist season in Pelion in the summer months, we cannot guarantee the availability of its external partners, but every effort will be made to meet requests.

18. DUE CARE AND SUPERVISION

It is understood that the Guest and attending Party are fully responsible and liable for the safety and well being of all guests and third parties while staying at the Villa. The guests are required to take due care and diligence during their stay and take precautions such as supervision of children in the gardens, near the entrance, and near or in the pool. Please note supervision, safety and behavior of all children are the Guests’ sole responsibility. All children must be under the direct supervision of an adult at all times. No guest may enter the Villa while wet from swimming, as floors may become slippery. Damages or injuries resulting from the above mentioned scenarios are the responsibility of the attending Guests. The attending Guests hold the Property Owner and its representatives harmless and free of liability resulting from such claims that result as consequences of accidents leading to accident, injury or loss of life.

If any attending member of your party behaves in a manner which causes or is likely to cause danger, excessive disturbance (i.e. to neighbors) or damage to the Property, or acts in breach of any provision in the Booking Documents, this Agreement will be terminated effective immediately and all Guests will be requested to vacate the Property. In this event, no refund will be received and you will be held liable for any expenses incurred as a result of your behaviour or the behaviour of persons in your party.

Entertainment events and events involving more than the maximum number ofguestsdescribed in Booking Reservation are strictly prohibited, unless fully approved by Elysian Luxury Villa Pelion” in advance. If unauthorized use of the Property is made in any way, the Property Owner has the right to request all guests to vacate the Property immediately,retaining 100% of the rental costs.The Damage Security Deposit will not be refunded until relevant inspections are made to the Property.

19. FORCE MAJEURE

In the event of such incidents as fires, floods, threats of war, acts of terrorism, industrial action, civil disturbances, severe weather conditions, disease pandemics, civil disturbances affecting the destination, shut down of airport, harbor or port, Acts of God, and any other type of delay, inconvenience, or expenses caused directly or indirectly by events outside of the Property Owner’s control, the Owner and all its subsidiary representatives bear no responsibility if the Booking Agreement is no longer possible due to force majeure.

 

20. PERSONAL DATA consent policy

We assure you that our Villa’s Privacy Policy complies with the European Data Protection Regulation 2016/679 (GDPR) and the relevant Greek Regulations.All data provided to us by you will enable us to process your final booking and the services you request. Security measures are in place to ensure that ourGuests’ database is not accessible to any unauthorised company or individual.

Please read our Privacy/Reservations/Cancellations Policy carefully before you contact us for a reservation in order to understand how we will handle your personal data when you send this data using one of the ways outlined above.

Any form of contact through at least one of the stated ways (email, telephone, text messages, Social Media, Viber, Whats up, Website, third party sites) with us for Reservation information implies that you have fully read, understood and accepted the privacy terms and reservations, payment and cancellation policies as contained herein.
